Changing our tribal inclinations

A little political incorrectness tonight. 

Have you notice how even Rachel but all of the MSNBC anchorettes and their interviewees are pushing WOKE very hard.... condemning all this 'anti-Semitism? They're not thinking this out... they always avoid the question WHY! Yes it causes violence tho nobody did it worse than the Nazis. But they can preach all day, like the did abt Saving the Environment.

Kids will still throw their coke cans out the window! Its HUMAN NATURE, as is RACISM and shunning unfriendly people.

Maybe its the POLITICAL PROGRESSIVES who aren't listening! Those who are PUSHING WOKE are in denial and listening to the cultural whiners too much.

TRUTH: Humans, like MOST mammals, are PACK ANIMALS.

 

We're TRIBAL and it's natural for survival, security and smooth social interaction that TRIBES tend to stick with like minded animals. Sociologists who STUDY US probably have noticed humans seem to work best in small groups, regardless of who's in charge of them.

 

Some cultures are more tolerant of other blended cultures. Some subcultures are more tribally loyal than others. These tribal preferences  have been observed back to primitive man living in caves and on the Earth's several continents both before and after the inventions of religions or national identities.

Jews are very clannish...that is, they historically stick to themselves and their religious scripture tends to reinforce that practice--starting with a very 'entitled' view of themselves that they are "God's chosen people."

Jews were not the first culture on the block so it makes little sense that if there really IS one creator, he/she/it would declare one culture a favorite or entitled one over others.   Does that belief encourage an attitude of higher self-esteem over others--essentially encouraging one's race above another?   What's the predictable reaction to that kind of thinking?

Jews have a long history of having a PR problem when it comes to being accepted by other cultures.  But WHY? 

 Perhaps today's woke-sters, rather than chastising everyone to stop noticing Jewish differences, they should hire a PR agency to do some empirical research and find out what it is about their culture that causes others to shun or avoid them. And like any other culture or company with fresh data, simply suggest they change their behavior to change their image.  Get rid of whatever seems offensive to others.   Maybe it's as simple as blending in with the rest of the people.    Is it a good religious taboo avoid joining the main culture and living among them?

That seems more likely to be successful than trying to talk the rest of humanity to become less naturally tribal!

 Jews aren't the only ones with a PR problem in America, but let's face it, Netanyahu isn't making them any friends by bombing civilians just now and maybe that's causing the sudden increase in bomb threats targeting Jews in the US.

American Indians have had PR problems because of their many tribal languages, lack of written history or an advancing civilization. Isolated for 10,000 years, they were among the very last hunter-gatherer civilizations and they have struggled dealing with more powerful invaders. Unlike the natives, Europeans have always believed individuals could fence off range land and declare they OWN IT.  Indian tribes never did--all land was public land for nomadic tribes.   The British had a habit of declaring ownership of every place where their ships landed and after centuries, the British islanders simply couldn't hold all those destinations by force!

Many Indians have chosen to blend into the customs of America's colonists by change their names, dress, learn European/American customs. Others migrating into the colonies and the new country from Europe blended the same way.  For most by second generation, their origins have become invisible except for obvious skin/hair color or surname from the old country.

Asians have had similar assimilation problems but they are exceptional critical thinkers so only some of their customs cause them to be shunned. Their cultural family structures are more stable than most others.

Arabs have religious issues when compared to other cultures, and the Russians have had more than a century of aggressive government which caused many on the planet to fear them.

Africans, kidnapped and sold to colonists were different in their skin color and white owners went out of their way to keep their slaves ignorant and submissive until the Civil War ended the practice of humans owning each other.

So we now have a broader, more historical look at our species and how cultures have fared when getting along with others.

In light of that, maybe we need to rethink this WOKE stuff, especially when we push individual cultural/Tribal identity so hard. Maybe we should push integration and cultural blending MORE.

What do ya think?  Don't sociologists observe cultures and what's unique about them, and how they get along with each other? Does studying cultures or races mean those who study and notice the differences in groups actually are practicing RACISTS, or in the case of Jews, anti-Semetic? Can we tell humans not to notice?
